Abstract:
Trust is an important issue in educational evaluation, including trust in evaluation results, through evaluation profession, and among people during evaluation. Educational evaluation have been rising and flourishing in Taiwan since 1990’s and the typical sample is school evaluation. The results of school evaluation have been used to judge the performance of a school, even used as reference for principal selections. Consequently, trust is an important issue for school evaluation in Taiwan. This study aims to explore the professional trust of educational evaluation. We used surveys to understand trust in the evaluation profession system of school members and educational administration departments, including the professionalism of evaluators and evaluation activity plans. This study explored how to improve the professionalism of the school evaluation system and introduced a feasible method of profession trust. The results of this study provided reference for educational administration departments.
