Abstract: principal’s emotional intelligence, teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior and organizational trust. Using stratified random sampling, questionnaires were distributed to public primary schools within Taiwan. The focus group is full time working teachers in the academic year of 2019. A total of 750 questionnaires were issued and 637 copies were recovered. The overall recovery rate was 87.9%. 521 valid questionnaires and 116 invalid questionnaires were available, with 81.8% overall effective rate. The results of the study found that principals’ emotional intelligence, teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior and organizational trust are positively correlated with each other. The public primary school principal’s emotional intelligence, teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior and organizational trust model are supported, and organizational trust has a partial mediated effect. The study suggests that principals can use emotional intelligence in self-management, to empathize and inspire others and build fair and sincere relationships, establishing a kind and safe environment to improve organization trust, thereby enhancing teachers' organizational citizenship behavior.
