Abstract:
Evaluators are key factors in the evaluation process. The creative personalities of evaluators can help them break free from traditional constraints and propose problem-solving strategies to win the trust of their evaluation subjects. This study focuses on the issues of creative personalities of evaluators and cultivating strategies. To achieve these objectives, previous studies were analyzed for a basic review, after which a seven members focus group proceeded by semi-structured questionnaire for data gathering. The findings are as follows: First, for cultivating the creative personalities of evaluators, they have to identify and transform their role. Second, to raise the motivation of evaluators and fulfill practical needs, the cultivating strategies would have to be reformed and developed continually. Furthermore, the short-term cultivating courses should be constructed under highly interactive evaluation scenarios. This study hopes to provide some suggestions for related institutes of education and further educational evaluation studies.
