一所學校教師會的興與衰:教師為何加入?為何退出? [詳全文]

摘要:

本研究是以學校教師會的成立與解散為焦點,選擇一所過去曾經成立教師會,

而目前已解散的公立小學進行個案研究,並利用利益團體相關理論詮釋研究發現。

研究結果顯示︰一、個案學校教師加入∕不加入教師會的動機與教師利益密切相關;

二、個案學校教師退出∕不退出教師會的原因具有高度一致性,其性質亦較多元,

不僅訴諸個人的好處,亦顧及整體的利益;三、教師會解散的理由與教師退出教師

會的原因大致相同,唯學校民主化是解散教師會的主因。「不離不棄」教師不支持

教師會重起爐灶,咸認為教師會已完成其階段性任務,可功成身退;「半途下車」

與「從未上車」教師則支持重整學校教師會,對學校教師會轉型為教師專業組織抱

持支持的態度。最後,本研究並根據研究結論,針對學校教師會的重整提出建議。

The rise and fall of a school-teacher association: Why teachers join or leave

Abstract
This study focuses on the establishment and dissolution of school-teacher

associations, choosing a school-teacher association which had been dissolved to

perform a case study. The findings were explained in accordance with pressure

group theory. The findings show that: I. Teachers join or do not join the Teacher

Association according to their interests. II. The reasons why teachers quit the

Teacher Association show a high degree of consistency and are diverse. Not only

resorting to personal benefits, but also taking into account their overall interests.

III. The reasons for the dissolution of this Teacher Association were the same as

why teachers quit the Teacher Association. Democratization was the main reason

for disbanding this Teacher Association. “Never get off” teachers didn’t support

the re-formulation of the Teacher Association because it had completed its task.

All “halfway off” teachers and “never on the train” teachers agreed to reform the

Teacher Association and form a professional organization for teachers. Finally, the

study proposes some opinions about reforming the Teacher Association.
